What is coaching?

A coach is a supportive partner and guide, helping you to identify what you really want.  The whole focus is on you “where are you today and where do you want to be.”  As a team you and your coach design the steps needed to keep you moving forward, toward your goal.  A coach will motivate you to believe in yourself and overcome the challenges that are keeping you from a full and successful future, personally and in the world of work.  The point is to have a life that you love!!!

What kind of meeting options do you offer?

Professional telephone-based coaching available across the US, customized to meet the specific needs of the individual.  Face- to- face coaching  is available, also.  My clients are asked to sign a contract that covers fees and procedures.

How much does coaching cost?

Packages range from onetime session to monthly coaching packages, career assessments, and resume review, $195 per session to $500.  The monthly packages vary depending on your needs.  Individual intensive sessions are conducted three times per month by telephone and are usually 45 minutes long.  The Initial intake session is approximately 60 minutes.

What does a typical session cover?

The sessions focus on the client’s specific goals, issues, and business needs.  We ask our clients to prepare a weekly prep form covering Wins, Challenges, and Things to strategize On.  This helps us to keep organized and make good use of the session.  Clients may also call in between sessions to touch base, strategize or discuss a challenge.    Training programs are centered on creating a climate of empowerment, fostering communication and teamwork.  Our facilitation style incorporates highly interactive exercises and lively discussion based on sound theory and assessment and is very experiential.

Does Coaching Help with ADD/ADHD?

ADHD is a neurobiological condition.  A coach specifically educated in ADHD has knowledge about the symptoms, the latest research, and the most effective treatment plans in working with people with ADHD, Executive Function disorders, and related issues. We will work together to help you achieve your goals and overcome your challenges. We are familiar with the common challenges, e.g., learning differences that affect your life.  We will build around focusing on your strengths while ensuring that your AD/HD challenges are minimized.  I will partner with a support team (physician, psychologist, and family).  You will be heard and understood.

Is coaching face-to-face?

Coaching is almost exclusively done by telephone as the majority of clients prefer the convenience of not having to travel and notice they can pay better attention on the phone.  Face-to-face coaching is available, please note the rates are higher in these instances to cover travel time and cost.

What is the financial investment?

Coaching costs vary based on the needs and goals of the client.  Pricing depends on the frequency and length of time of sessions and can vary from $195 to $500 per month.  Monthly coaching consists of three sessions per month including two additional phone calls to touch base (approximately 10 minutes each).

How long is the coaching relationship?

A commitment of 3 months is required, as it usually takes at least 3 months to 6 months to lay the ground work, see changes and results, according to the size of your goals.
